CAUTION : storms of late afternoon, which can sometimes be violent in the vicinity of massive ice and make the trail very slippery, hence the need to be well fitted.
ROUTE : From the Rosuel mountain hut.
Just after the hut, the trail climbs very gradually GR5, then crosses a large alder until the passage of the Rebe (1916 m) in front of the cascade of Nant Putors.
At the exit of the small tamarack you will have beatiful panorama views of the glaciers Platières. The trail continues its steady tracers in the glacial feature, then crosses a small gray limestone blocks.
At the intersection, leave the GR5 to the right towards the lake. It happens quickly on the map of La Plagne, where the road continues along the winding Ponthurin nearly 2 km to reach the Lac de la Plagne. Bypass the right to reach the Sanctuary Between Lake. Refreshments available.
