Villages Peisey, chief-town

Description :
Peisey village, 1350m altitude is the chief town.
The welcome has been a tradition for a long time ago, the porch of the eldest hotel dating from 1820 is a proof.
You will find all kind of accommodations: Guest Houses, hotels, apartments, family holiday centre and charming houses.
Besides the town hall, you will find several other shops:
Cheese shops, butchery, bakery, grocery, ski shop, tabacco/bookseller and post office.
The Tourist Office is open daily .
The departure of the télévillage is halfway from Peisey village and Le Villaret, this lift links the village up to the ski resort: 4 trains of 6 trucks, 8 mn of run, arrival at Plan-Peisey, nearby the french ski school, the day nursery, the Vanoise Express cable car and the Peisey chairlift. Every 30 minutes : free shuttles bus to the Nordic area .
